Musician Recording Release

As an individual Singer or Singing Group or a Band, (a.k.a. the Employer), you may/will be auditioning Independent Musicians for your concerts, Gigs or Recording Sessions.
The Independent Musicians joining you or your Band or Group are not employees, nor partners, nor agents of the Employer, nor of the Production Company nor any other company or person affiliated with the Employer in any manner whatsoever.
Signing this music legal contract the independent Musician is assigning any and all Rights to their performance over to the Employer.
This Agreement between the independent Musician and the Employer is drafted in plain English that is easy to read and comprehend. The Agreement may be filled in on your computer or printed out and filled in later.
This is an extensive music legal contract including but now limited to the following clauses: confidentiality, compensation, dismissal for drug/alcohol/illegal photographs/nuisance, engagement dates, assignment of rights and termination notice. Your Lawyer will draft any and all other clauses for your unique situations and circumstances.
Our contracts are based on the principles of contract law, are country neutral and may be used in Australia, Canada, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Sates or any country whose legal principles are based on the English or American Legal System.
Our music contracts provide legal protection for music writers and composers, music agents, music recorders, music producers, musicians and singers, music distributors and music marketers are used by: Alternative bands, Ambient musicians, Blues Bands and Blues singers, Classic Rock Tribute Bands, Choral Ensembles, Country and Western Bands, Country Rock Bands, Country singers, Dance Bands, Electric and Electronic Bands, Folk singers, Hip Hop singers, Jazz singers, Jazz Bands, Jazz ensembles, Polka Bands, Rap singers, Rap groups, Reggae Bands and Reggae singers, Religious Groups and Religious Bands, Religious Singers, R&B Groups, R&B Bands, R&B Singers, Rock Bands, and International Bands and International singers.
There are six forms of this Agreement depending on if the Musician is being hired for one or more Gigs and for pay or giving their services gratis.

Herein this Agreement the above named and below signed Band/Group/Manager is the “Employer”, and the above named and below signed Independent Musician is the “Musician”.
HENCE, in consideration of the promises, and of the mutual undertakings herein contained, and for other good and valuable considerations, the above named and below signed Musician and the above named and below signed Employer agree as follows:
1. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, the above named and below signed Employer hereby engages the above named and below signed Musician as an “Independent Musician” to perform the services set forth herein, and the Musician hereby accepts such engagement.
2. The Musician will perform at the Gigs on the dates and times listed in Appendix “A”. Rehearsals, if any, are as agreed.
3. Breaks are as agreed in the Gig contract with the Promoter, or as agreed by the Employer before the Gig, or as necessary during the Gig.
4. The Musician shall provide her/his own instruments as recorded above for the Gig. The Musician hereby warrants that her/his instruments are . . . continued

For and in consideration the Musician engaged by the Employer on terms stated herein, the Musician hereby gives the Employer, their legal representatives and assigns, those for whom the Employer is acting and those acting with their permission, or their employees, the Right and permission to record the Musician’s voice, performance and image by any and all electronic means, to copyright or use, reuse and/or publish, and republish or present . . . continued
