Recording Manufacturing Company Contract
As an independent artist/singer/vocalist, independent band or independent musician you will possess Master Recordings that you will want pressed and distributed. The recording manufacturing company manages and coordinates the production, manufacture, distribution, promotion, and enforcement of copyright protection of sound recordings and music videos for and on behalf of recording artists and their managers.
This comprehensive contract has the following clauses amongst others: copyright ownership, confidentiality, licensing agreements, manufacturing and distribution rights, compensation, distribution territory and reversion clause.
This music legal contract between the independent Artist and the Recording Manufacturing Company is drafted in plain English that is easy to read and comprehend. This is a ten page, twenty-nine clause legal Agreement. The Agreement may be filled in on your computer or printed out and filled in later.
Our contracts are based on the principles of contract law, are country neutral and may be used in Australia, Canada, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Sates or any country whose legal principles are based on the English or American Legal System.

There are two forms of this Agreement. The first contract the Recording Manufacturing Company receives royalties for services rendered. The second contract the Recording Manufacturing Company receives a one time compensation/payment for services rendered.

Herein this Agreement is between the above named Recording Manufacturing Company, represented by the above named and below signed Recording Manufacturing Company Representative (herein called the “Recording Manufacturing Company”) and the above named and below signed Artist and Management/Agent (herein called the “Artist”), for the above named Project that includes the Master sound recordings (herein called the “Recording”).
The Recording Manufacturing Company is a going concern that specializes in the manufacture of musical recordings, recording distribution and representation of musical artists.
Be it known that the Recording Manufacturing Company is familiar with the musical skills, abilities and professionalism of the Artist and that the Recording Manufacturing Company has the manufacturing facilities, business expertise, management ability, requisite music industry distribution contacts, financial resources and desire to assist and promote the Artist in the furtherance of her/his/their career by manufacturing and selling the Artist’s Project/Recording(s).
HENCE, in consideration of the promises, and of the mutual undertakings herein contained, and for other good and valuable considerations, the above named and below signed Artist and the above named and below signed Recording Company Representative agree as follows:
1. The Artist has in her/his/their possession recorded “master sound recordings” of certain musical compositions detailed in Appendix “A”. Either directly or by way of exclusive license, the Artist warrants that she/he/they has/have all the legal Rights, Title, Ownership, and Interest, including Copyright, in the Masters to be manufactured and sold by the Recording Manufacturing Company.
2. The Recording Manufacturing Company hereby warrants that it does business throughout the ________________________________________________ (state, province, country, world),(herein called the “Territory”), publishing musical compositions.
