Agency Booking Agreement
An independent Producer or Promoter will often hire talent and entertainers for concerts and gigs through the services of a Talent Agency. In the music world, booking agents are different from talent managers. Booking agents are the people that actually book shows for the artists they represent. They make all of the arrangements with the promoters of the shows. The booking agent presents the promoter or producer of the concert with a performance agreement, which stipulates the artist’s requirements.
This is an extensive ten page, twenty-nine legal clause music contract including but not limited to the following music contract Clauses: confidentiality, consumption of drugs and alcohol, compensation, copyright non-infringement, entertainer merchandise sales, parking, dressing rooms and security.

HENCE, in consideration of the promises, and of the mutual undertakings herein contained, and for other good and valuable considerations, the above named and below signed Talent and the above named and below signed Producer agree as follows: 1. The Talent will perform at the Gigs on the dates and times listed in Appendix “A”. 2. Breaks are as agreed with the Producer before the Gig, or as necessary during the Gig. Minimum breaks are 10 minutes every hour. 3. The Talent shall provide her/his own instruments as recorded above for the Gig. The Talent hereby warrants that her/his instruments are of durable and suitable quality for the Gig. Requirements for electrical outlets, pianos etc. are listed in Appendix “B”. 4. All light and sound equipment and personnel necessary for smooth functioning of the Gig is the sole responsibility of the Producer. Light and sound requirements for the Talent are listed in Appendix “C”. 5. Consumption of Drugs or Alcohol before or during the Talent’s time on the Gig and or creating a nuisance that interrupts the Gig in any manner whatsoever will command immediate dismissal from the set and Gig. 6. The Producer shall at all times have complete supervision, direction, and control over the services of the Talent on this Gig and expressly reserves the Right to control the manner, means, and details of the performance of the services by the Talent. 7.
