Can an employer alter a contract term and refuse to pay for worked hours?
Question by hoonoki: Can an employer alter a contract term and refuse to pay for worked hours?
My friend worked at her college in Tennessee for a while, and afterwards the college re-arranged the dates of her work contract to cut out two weeks at the beginning and two weeks at the end, so that she effectively doesn’t get paid for a month’s worth of work. She is not the only worker affected by the change. Is this legal? Is there anything they can do?

yeah if they had a union lol but most of them are just leeches and do nothing for the people they pretend to protect. But it does sound fishy to me unless it is a paid internship.
