Guilty Plea by Former Fire Company Treasurer
Gerard J. Whittington, Sr., pleaded guilty on Monday to charges of grand larceny that followed accusations that he had embezzled hundreds of thousands of dollars from the Aurora-Colden Fire District. In June, Whittington was removed from his post as treasurer of the Fire District, which is served by the West Falls Volunteer Fire Company.

Aurora Board Receives Traffic Study Findings
Erie County officials have confirmed findings of a private traffic study regarding the intersection of Jewett Holmwood Road, Route 20A and the planned entrance to the proposed Reed Hill subdivision, Supervisor Jolene Jeffe reported at the Nov. 22 Aurora Town Board meeting.
