How much money does a music major make?

Question by : How much money does a music major make?
Im going to start college soon and i want to major in music. I play the guitar and im alright but im not the best and i really want a future in music. My uncle told me that music majors do not make a lot of money so he convinced me to change my major to business management and to put music as my minor.the only reason the money making concerns me is because when im older and have a family i want to be able to support them and i dont want to be working at little music store making minimum wage.So how much do music majors make?
