this is my plan of getting in but i need REAL advice if this is right. and i dont have money for a manger or agent so i am doing this on ma own for now.
[my plan]: i want to do music and heres what ive done so far. i have been on almost every internet site and told people about my music (mostly guys cause they usually respond to me quicker than girls do), and i made my internet sites on the 18th of June and it’s July 5 and i have about 2,500 friends on myspace in that short amount of time. you see my parents are really excited about me doing music so they deiced to home school me for my last year of high school. i work on school while doing my mixtape in my spare time, and get a fan base online so when i do get out there i have some fans who know about me already. once i get my diploma i upload my mixtape to a ton of websites that can do that (upload mixtapes so everybody can hear). i tried datpiff but it didnt work it said i had no permission whatever that means but im in the process of lookin for more. but anyway pass my mixtapes around the city where i stay at and other cities around the state. (im from up north but i reside in the south). so when ive done that go back up north and perform anywhere where there is exposure and at hotels and charge people per performance because i also need money in my pocket too. and since ive grown somewhat of a growing fan base i can do local shows for their cities, hotels clubs anywhere were there are a lot of people around. and while im doing that i have found a site where it gives all the lists of major and independent record labels. so while im doin shows i send my work to every record label site in the United States and praying somebody will give me a chance. ill try and find some way to contact them and send them my resume and videos of performances interviews etc
