let’s say the agreed to a 8mill contract
but i want not just an advance but guaranteed money
so i want money upfront
and i told them i want free plane tickets

You’re making stuff up.

1. You wouldn’t be asking our sorry butts about $ 8 million. You’d lock that up quick.

2. If that much money is at stake for 4 people, the agent would be doing the talking, not you.

3. This is the music business we’re talking about. You get a contract or not. If I was offered a million dollar contract to do what I love I’d take it, guarantees up front or not. You don’t have a leg to stand on without a string of hits or contests won, and those in the business know the money is almost never guaranteed.
