DSO ratifies new contract
DETROIT — In a move that officially ended the 26-week long strike, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra Inc. has announced that the April 4 agreement reached with Local 5 of the American Federation of Musicians has been ratified by the musicians of the Orchestra. The terms of the new three-year contract are effective from April 4 through Aug. 31, 2014.
