城大過千名師生集會抗議講師導師被裁Demonstration Over Staffing Issues In CityU www.rthk.org.hk 超過一千名城大師生在校園集會，抗議校方裁減講師及導師。有學生表示，校方為爭取世界排名，重研究而忽略教學，系內四分之一負責教學的導師不獲續約，影響教學質素。 城大教職員協會說，部分被口頭通知不獲續約的講師及導師，表現良好，不明白為何在逆市下，他們不獲續約。 城大證實43名經評核的導師，約半數只續約半年，至於不獲續約的講師及助理教授，則未能提供數字，但校方會重新視審視個案。 城大副教長何炘基又說，現時校內有300名導師，比率較其他大學為高，不能保證300 名導師獲長期聘用，亦不會撤回導師不被續約的方案。 The Senior Management of the CityU is sacking 100 staff.
