Q&A: My neighbors dog is doing its business in my section of the lawn; in front of my windows and around my patio I?

Question by hourglass_beauty: My neighbors dog is doing its business in my section of the lawn; in front of my windows and around my patio I?
live in an apartment community all one story and you are responsible for cleaning up after your pets. I don’t like to walk in my yard because of this and its just gross looking out my windows or going outside to see this not to mention unsanitary. Does anyone have any polite suggestions on asking them to clean up after their dog before I complain to the management company about this. I don’t care if they play music loud etc I just want to have my area clean and sanitary. I don’t have any pets and don’t feel I should have to clean up after theirs. I do love dogs I just know I don’t have time or want to clean up after or for one. I would prefer to do it in a manner it wont cause issues with them by complaining to the management. I just moved in here 6 weeks ago and have waited to see if they would clean it up and nothing has happened.
Maybe I should say Im somewhat of a bold person and come off as rude at times even though Im really not being rude so Im trying to curb it down a bit so I dont come off so rude. Many people dont do well with blunt bold behavior. Because I really want to go over and say clean up after your dog or I will report your rude ass to management and animal control but I know thats not appropriate. I also want to keep a good neighborly profile with them because I have a home theater that the subwoofer bumps hard no matter how low you turn it down and you cant turn it off. Which is one reason I dont care if they play their music loud. Thanks for all suggestions

write an anonymous note saying that a few surrounding apartments would appreciate it it the owner would clean up after the dog. This way the owner doesn’t know it was you. then drop it in their mailbox.
