What should I do if I’m Music Major interested in Business?

Question by Jon: What should I do if I’m Music Major interested in Business?
So I went the community college route and I’m graduating with my AA this fall, as a music major. I’m headed to Shepherd University as a Music Major with a Musical Theatre/Voice concentration.
Recently I’ve become interested in business and the skeleton of how to create a business.

I’ve come so far as a music major, I don’t want to waste my credits and be in school for 6 years because I switched my major. My plan is to minor in Business Admin since my sudden interest wants me to study it.
My main question is, Is it possible to get an MBA when you studied Music as an Undergrad? Is Grad school in business plausible?

If I did decide to go, my goal would be to provide more opportunities for performing in my hometown. Somehow find a way to create a business around that idea.

Good Grief!!!

Do what you want. If you want to start a business in the performing arts, you would look more credible with your MBA in music.

Any University counselor worth his salt would see the worth of taking business courses along with your music major.

Always remember, Never let the University interfere with your education.
